The Power Platform is a suite of low-code/no-code tools developed by Microsoft to empower individuals and organizations to analyze data, automate processes, build custom applications, and create virtual agents. It consists of four main components:

  1. Power BI: Power BI is a business analytics tool used to visualize and analyze data from various sources. It allows users to create interactive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to gain insights into their data. Power BI also enables data exploration, data preparation, and collaboration among teams.


  3. Power Apps: Power Apps is a platform for building custom business applications without the need for extensive coding skills. It offers a drag-and-drop interface to create web and mobile applications quickly. Power Apps integrates with other Microsoft services and third-party applications, allowing users to leverage data and workflows from various sources.


  5. Power Automate: Formerly known as Microsoft Flow, Power Automate is a workflow automation tool that enables users to automate repetitive tasks and business processes across multiple applications and services. It offers a wide range of pre-built connectors and templates to streamline processes such as approvals, notifications, data synchronization, and more.


  7. Power Virtual Agents: Power Virtual Agents is a no-code chatbot development platform that allows users to create intelligent virtual agents to interact with customers and employees. It provides a visual interface for designing and deploying chatbots without writing any code. Power Virtual Agents can handle common inquiries, provide personalized responses, and escalate complex issues to human agents.

The Power Platform is designed to empower both business users and professional developers to drive digital transformation within their organizations. It enables individuals to analyze data, automate processes, build custom applications, and engage with users through chatbots, thereby improving productivity, efficiency, and collaboration across the organization.

  You can create an Sharepoint Online app catalog site collection in few simple steps: Sign into Office 365 as a global admin or SharePoint admin. Select the app launcher icon   in the upper left and choose  Admin  to open the Office 365 admin center (if you don’t see the Admin tile, you don’t have Office 365 administrator permissions in your organization).
